eFax : You can pick up your own private fax number free on this site; people fax you on the number and the faxes are converted into a proprietary format and sent to your email address. You then use the fax viewer to print out the message. The service is advertiser-supported, but no advertisements will appear on the actual fax. Note that Windows users can choose to password-protect their faxes for greater security; this option is not open to users on other systems (Mac, Unix etc.) This service only lets you receive faxes; to send faxes you will need a fax machine.
